Minority Scholarship Program Bowl-a-Thon (2026)

On May 16, 2026, SANCSC hosted a day of family, friends, and fun, at its 11th Annual Scholarship Bowl-a-Thon fundraiser.  

The event was held at the Bandera Bowling Center, at 6700 Huebner Road, and a great time was had by all in attendance; whether as bowlers or on-lookers.

Proceeds for the fundraiser went toward our Walter C. Gaskin Minority Scholarship Program, named in honor of one of its founding members. 

The scholarship program supports minority high school seniors in the San Antonio Metropolitan area who demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to service.

During the event, there were prizes for the top 3 teams, as well as the high and low series for male and female bowlers. There were also door prizes for ALL participants.

Thank you to Sea World, the San Antonio Zoo, and the Plaza Hotel for sponsoring gifts for the event.

Thank you to the Bowl-a-thon Committee for doing the heavy lifting behind the scenes to make this event a HUGE success!
